On September 4, 2010, The Sixth Branch stopped by the Baltimore Ronald McDonald House to provide dinner for its house guests. The Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for seriously ill children and their families. The Sixth Branch served a hearty meal for approximately 40 residents which included Shepherd’s Pie, caramelized carrots, biscuits and gravy, corn on the cob, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. We also had the great privilege of speaking at length with a number of the house families. Hearing their stories inspired us to remain involved in the cancer community. This evening’s dinner is dedicated to Brooklyn.
