Our development director Noah Smock took on a challenge to raise $4,000 in 60 days to implement a rain barrel program in Oliver to save residents money in an eco-friendly way. Together, we reached our goal ahead of schedule! Stay tuned for video of Noah falling from the sky.
Rich is a Marine Corps veteran (1999-2003) and current Army officer who grew up in Ohio. He has served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned his doctoral degree from Loyola University Maryland in 2013. In 2010, Rich and a few fellow veterans founded The 6th Branch and began implementing the idea that the military skill set could be applied to community service. He was T6B's executive director from 2010-2012 and currently serves as chairman of the board.
